In this session, we will use the tools of movement, connection, and sound healing to help our systems tap into their ability to restore, heal, and find ease. We will use a slow, all-levels yoga flow to help our systems get out of our chattering brains and into our intuitive visceral state. Mini massages will be offered throughout (This is optional and based on an opt-in system) as a way to deepen the ease of the body as well as gain the inherently grounding and calming effects of human touch. Once we have dropped further into the intuitive body state, we will be ready for a sound bath using singing bowls.

Singing bowls inherently activate the parasympathetic nervous system and counteract the body’s stress response. So we get this chance to let the bowls do the work and not have to try so hard to do it ourselves. The natural relaxation effects of the singing can lead to reduced muscle tension, lowered blood pressure, and decreased levels of stress hormones like cortisol. In addition to its physiological effects, sound healing with singing bowls can also have an effect on the mind and emotions. The repetitive and rhythmic nature of the sounds can quiet the mind, promote mental clarity, and enhance mindfulness and meditation practices. Many individuals report experiencing a sense of inner peace, emotional release and heightened states of consciousness during sound healing sessions.
