Denver’s Radically Open Embodied Relating Meetup brings together aspects of Radical Honesty, Radically Open DBT, Somatic Experiencing, Authentic Relating and more to practice open-hearted discussion and exercises that help us connect deeply in new ways, grounded in our bodies & senses, not just our minds.

Many of us do not realize the level of dissociation we’ve developed through years of avoiding the thoughts and sensations that remind us of past pain or trauma. Similarly, most of us do not grasp the power of being able to turn off those dissociative habits and rejoin the here-and now, fully embodied and connected to ourselves, our environment, and others.

This meetup is focused on identifying the many ways we’ve learned to avoid fully experiencing the here and now, and to build new habits aimed at building an authentic, intimate connection to others and a full-bodied acceptance of every part of ourselves, which leads to more full connection with and acceptance of others.

Tony is a psychedelic assisted therapist specializing in trauma, somatic experiencing, relationships and internal family systems. Tony co-owns Casa Elysiana, a retreat center in Costa Rica and manages the Colorado Psychedelic Facilitator’s Cohort which aims to democratize the tools and skills for maximizing the mental health benefits of psychedelics.
