Befriend and tame your dragon with the spirit of the Chinese New Year of the Dragon as you melt into a series of yin shapes and somatic pranayama: all with a live soundscape to prepare the mind and body for a guided yoga nidrā meditation. Nidrā in Sanskrit means sleep and a 30 minute practice is proven equivalent to appx 4hrs of sleep. Additionally, benefits of practicing yoga nidrā include reduced inflammation, a circadian rhythm reset for the nervous system and hormone homeostasis – think cortisol, adrenaline, serotonin, etc. adjusting to optimal levels. The meditation practice is done lying down. We can’t wait to journey with you.

Mango

Hi, I’m Mango, owner of The Wellness Hive! As a yoga instructor and physical therapist, I’m a hybrid medicine practitioner fusing eastern medicine with western science. My focus at The Wellness Hive is on nervous system regulation through yoga nidrā guided meditation as the foundation of healing both physical and energetic bodies from the inside out. My goal is to offer holistic health care in its truest form and co-create healing programs with purpose. When you come for meditation class at Invisible City you can expect an oracle deck card pull, singing bowls, a journaling prompt moment, a chance to make a new friend, and some gentle movement and breathing exercises to prepare the body for a deep journey inward. It’s the ultimate rejuvenation practice and I’m blessed to host you! Namaste.
