Urban Cowboy Hotel
Step into history at Urban Cowboy Denver, our latest western outpost in the Mile High City! Housed in the iconic George Schleier Mansion— a quirky Queen Anne built in the 1880s by famed architect Fred Edbrooke— this historic gem boasts gargoyles, Bavarian swans, and a dome that’s a local legend. With eight fireplaces and striking vintage charm, it’s where opulence meets whimsy.
Austin Gavlak
For almost a decade, Austin Gavlak has been a dynamic force in the global music scene. Austin’s musical journey began in Vail, CO where he founded and produced Powabunga Festival, a blend of his two passions – snowsports and music. In 2019 moved to Aspen, where the eclectic atmosphere allowed him to hone his craft, shaping his unique sound. Austin was also instrumental in creating many experiences surrounding music, including Buckhorn Social Club, a ski community focused project, opening the Snow Lodge in Aspen, and his newest festival project, AHABAJA, in San Jose Del Cabo last spring.
A globetrotter at heart, Austin is fascinated with cultural cross-pollination. He has taken his
music to new heights over the past couple years, playing shows in some of the world’s most
iconic venues in Berlin, NYC, Egypt, Saint-Tropez, and Black Rock City.
Austin’s musical curiosity crafts sets that mix genres seamlessly, creating a musical journey
that captivates audiences. From house beats to indie dance selects, Austin weaves a tapestry of sound that is as diverse as the global audience he commands.
My Friend Sammy
Sammy’s multifaceted journey as a DJ reflects his passion for creativity and connection. Initially stepping behind the decks through his creative concepts The BLK MKT and Foreign Form, he crafted soundscapes that blurred the lines between art, music, and dance. With residencies at Ponyboy Aspen and the W Hotel as well as playing a key role at Buckhorn Social Club, he is one of Aspen’s most celebrated exports.
His musical adventures have taken him across the globe, with notable gigs in Bali, Portugal, France, London, Mexico and at Burning Man, showcasing his ability to create unique experiences wherever he goes. Sammy’s obsession with the center of the Venn Diagram – that intersection of various creative elements, and the magic that resides there, continues to shape his artistic journey.
Other Rooms

Bailey and Nicholas have worked with multiple companies across the Denver metro area creating immersive performances, performing in unexpected places, photographing dance, and working to create unforgettable events. They seek to invite and inspire others into the space of creation and cultivate the suspension of judgement.
