Brent has been on an intentional psychedelic path for over 20 years. His psychedelic practice has been a source of personal growth and a catalyst for profound spiritual development and healing. This journey has shaped every facet of his existence in the most profound and beautiful ways.

Over 15 years ago Brent decided to dedicate his life to helping others navigate their own psychedelic path. His almost lifelong calling has included guiding and educating individuals, small private groups, and medium-sized groups through the profound and often mystical terrain of psychedelic work. In 2023 he founded Jornada (www.cojornada.com), an organization committed to expanding the healthy and productive adoption of intentional psychedelic practice by Western culture via educational events, guided psychedelic ceremonies, and therapeutic sessions.

Drawing from a wellspring of education and experience, Brent has honed his approach to psychedelic facilitation in which he underscores the paramount importance of intention, deepening one’s understanding of the substance, the process, and the techniques required to navigate the psychedelic space, and crafting a mindset and physical setting to support the optimal outcome.

Aside from his many years of self-education and underground experience, he has professional training from the Oregon psilocybin facilitator licensure training program “Myco-Method”, a secondary degree in psychology, and a bachelor’s degree in business.

Brent views each psychedelic ceremony as a collaborative work of symbolic art co-created by the participants, the sacred molecule, himself and supporting practitioners, resulting in a curated space where transformation, magic, and personal growth can flourish.
