Kenneth Adair Scarborough III, aka KAS Tha III, is an international DJ and producer from San Antonio, TX, USA.

In 2008, KAS Tha III took up DJ’ing as a hobby, but soon dedicated himself to becoming a full time self-funded artist. Having a background in Institutional Management and Hospitality, KAS Tha III founded Out Of Nowhere Entertainment & Events, which helped him earn a gig as the opening act for world-renowned DJ Stefano Noferini. KAS Tha III’s rising popularity saw him hosting weekly events in San Antonio.

In 2015, KAS Tha III started the podcast “At Tha Roundtables” as a platform for artist-related discussions and new music. On the show, he once hosted DJ/producer Scotty Boy as a guest. Later that year, he was invited to play at Kingdom Nightclub during Austin City Limits weekend for the Octopus Records Showcase.

KAS Tha III began touring in South America in mid-January of 2016, where he played parties at the Antigua’s famous “underground pool party” in Guatemala. Other steps along the way included 3 residencies at local nightclubs in Cusco, Peru and performances in the resort beach city of Búzios, Brazil.

In 2017, “At Tha Roundtables” evolved into a live video broadcast hosted by a group called Tha Techno Knights, which was formed by KAS Tha III and other industry friends. Tha Techno Knights performed magical, inspirational, and heartfelt electronic music for their audience of about 2,500 dedicated listeners at the time.

Kenneth founded another group called Third Stone with one of the former members of Tha Techno Knights to enter into the Groove Cruise DJ Competition, from which Third Stone came out victorious. As the winners of the competition, Third Stone was given the privilege to perform on the Groove Cruise, aka “The World’s Largest Floating Music Festival.” There, they took the stage alongside acts such as Green Velvet, Supernova, Lee Reynolds, Pirupa, and Shiba San.

As 2019 came around, KAS Tha III revamped his “At Tha Roundtables” video podcast into “Tha Roundtables” live events, aiming to take the brand to higher heights. “Tha Roundtables” shows played at various underground locations in San Antonio, featuring acts such as Patrick M and PC. KAS Tha III and brands also attended the Winter Music Conference in Miami.

Recently in 2023, KAS Tha III began to play out regularly in Denver at local venues and nightclubs like Club Lexi, Kulture Music Hall, Bar Standard and 1902 in San Antonio, where he opened up for Chris Lake.

His debut “King of Tha…” album is set for release later in 2024, which he describes as “a cosmic genesis of dark emotion and absolute truth.” As his career continues to evolve as an artist, producer, stage performer, KAS Tha III remains dedicated to his mission of promoting local talent and building a sense of musical unity.
