Explore flavor and aroma through the lens of self awareness as Seth Gregg leads a cupping (tasting) of three coffee’s from a small farm in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia.
Cupping coffee is a simple, standardized way of tasting coffee that is often practiced in remote markets by coffee buyers who need to decide bean and harvest quality. Cupping is also a great way to practice grounding, intention, and self awareness by noticing external, internal, and imagined experiences that are influencing you in the present.
In this morning event we will do a formal tasting of three coffee’s I brought back from a recent trip to Colombia, learn about the production of the coffee, the farmer, and the region, as well as how to turn the tasting experience into a personal ritual for self observation and starting your day with clarity.
