Portal’s Bicycle Day event at Meow Wolf was a blast, and now you’re a member – but what exactly is Portal anyway?

At this event, Veronica Lightning Horse Perez and the team at Portal will give you a proper introduction to our organization, its mission to destigmatize the responsible use of psychedelics, upcoming events in Denver & more. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to help shape what Portal becomes, so your attendance and participation is encouraged.

David Satori of Beats Antique will also join us for a conversation and to close the night with a beautiful sound journey.

Partnership of Responsible Trippers Advocating for Legalization (PORTAL) is an initiative by Propeller to de-stigmatize the responsible use of psychedelics, educate people about their benefits and advocate for legal accessibility.

David Satori

David is co-founder of Beats Antique with Zoe Jakes and Sidecar Tommy, a trio born in the San Francisco performance underground, Burning Man, and West Coast Circus Bass music scene. Beats Antique has toured internationally and headlined Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado multiple times. David is also co-founder of Dirtwire with Evan Fraser and Mark Reveley. Dirtwire is a fusion of experimental Bass Music and back porch folk music from around the globe. Between both groups David has co produced and recorded over 20 albums in the past 15 years.

David is also co-founder of an international nonprofit organization called “SunRise Studios Collective.” This project builds micro recording / multimedia studios in under-resourced places around the world, with the goal of uplifting youth by giving them a voice and helping to amplify their message through the art of recording and production.

David believes that music and art is a healing medicine, and encourages each of us to travel courageously and curiously into our passions and to spread the love of music and art wherever and whenever we can.
