Cookie Factory: Legends League Opening Block Party

- This event has passed.
This is the must-attend partner event of the season at Cookie Factory!
Step onto the block where art meets asphalt—where Gary Simmons’ ghostly memories come alive through games, music, and movement to celebrate the opening of his new exhibition: RUSH. This one-day celebration throws it back to pickup games in parking lots, golden chalk lines of Foursquare, and sneakers that tell their own stories. Watch basketball dunk contests and Horse games unfold, step into the break circle, or slip onto the Memory Bench and trade stories with strangers. A DJ lineup of our own local legends, including DJ GypDaHip, Musa Bailey, SELKO, and the Denver Broncos’ own DJ Squizzy Taylor will set the outdoor soundtrack. Food trucks line the curb and art activations keep the day humming.
The Block Party and Exhibition opening kicks off with free giveaways and treats at 2PM. Come early and stay late. Bring a friend.
Get curious. Leave full. All are welcome.
