Bigger Than Us: The Art Party
- This event has passed.
We’re gathering the Denver Creative Community to come participate in the filming of the FINAL scene of our Music Video Passion Project called the “World Needs Your Art” (by Reah Agency, Directed by Halle).
The event will focus on our 2 main characters of the music video – Cat & Grüv, reaching their final point of artistic liberation in the video. In this scene, Grüv will be sharing their music productions, and Cat will be showcasing her mixed media art. The focus on filming will be these two characters, but engaging with the creative community within this event. By participating in this event you are consenting to your image being captured on video to potentially appear in the final music video edit.
Expect a little bit of structure throughout the night as Halle guides us through a couple different phases of filming. We’ll begin filming at 7:30pm sharp and anticipate wrapping filming by 8:30pm. Guests will have space to freely interact and connect and enjoy the artwork before & after filming.
ONLY RULES:
Everyone wear PURPLE (this is connected to the color journey we’re taking through the arc of our characters stories in the video) Dress code is elevated cocktail attire. If you don’t have purple, you can wear white.
Come ready to engage in community conversations centered around the importance of art. You may discuss pieces of art that have changed your life, share your work with others in conversation, or simply engage in meaningful discussions around artistic expression.
THE EXPECTATIONS:
This event is open & free to ALL to attend, with the purpose of uplifting & honoring artistic expression.
Expect some structure as we film the music video scene with y’all there 7:30-8:30PM, while also enjoying a fluid night of connecting in creative community, open conversations, and drinks flowing at the Invisible City bar.
The World Needs Your Art project is partnering with Colorado Crisis Services to promote the use of their 988 mental health crissis hotline, for people to reach out for support when they need it. All donations for this event will be contributing to Colorado Crisis Services.
The purpose of the project is uplifting the courage & bravery it takes to express your soul’s creations into the world, the importance of staying alive, and the power of expressing your heart in a way that not only rescues yourself, but creates permission slips of liberation for other artists to step into their truest expression as well.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to experience something truly special.
