Dog Days – Happy Hour & Photo Shoot
Fancy a pint with a pup? A pic with your pooch? This is the hangout for hounds and humans alike.
Bring your dog for an evening of canine camaraderie, casual cocktails, and camera flashes. Have a drink (or three) while your pup makes new friends, then strike a pose together for a (semi) professional photo you’ll want to put on the fridge. If you don’t have a dog, don’t worry- someone would be glad to loan you one for a moment!
Please give your dog a walk beforehand: accidents inside or on the patio make things… awkward. Happy hour bartender specials run all evening, with water bowls and tasty treats for the good boys and girls.
Leashes required. Vibes encouraged.
Human's Best Friends
Teddy
Teddy is a 5 year-old Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky, don’t ask how it happens) who loves the snow, hiking, and biting a good bone. Despite shedding every day, he is somehow still double-fluffed and full of guff. He hopes to keep chasing squirrels and being around his dad as much as he can.
Toto
Toto is a scrappy 3 year-old Cairn Terrier who loves whirlwind adventures, barking at witches, and sticking close to Dorothy’s heels. Despite his compact frame, he somehow manages to steal every scene and cause just enough chaos to move the plot along. He hopes to never leave Kansas—or Dorothy’s side—again.
Beethoven
Beethoven is a slobbery 4 year-old Saint Bernard (think: bear in a dog suit) who loves stealing snacks, barreling through the house, and saving the day, usually by accident. Despite weighing more than most middle schoolers, he still believes he’s a lap dog. He hopes to keep the Newton family on their toes and drool on every clean surface he can find.
Laika
Laika is a 3 year-old stray-turned-space-pioneer who loved chasing pigeons, curling up in tight spots, and unknowingly making history. Despite humble beginnings on the streets of Moscow, she somehow became the first living creature to orbit Earth. She hopes that somewhere, somehow, her story reminds us to look up, and to be kind to the curious.
Lassie
Lassie is a 7 year-old Rough Collie- basically a long-haired genius in a fur coat- who loves rescuing kids from wells, alerting townsfolk to danger, and trotting heroically through fields. Despite the fact that no one ever taught her English, she seems to understand full conversations. She hopes to continue being the smartest one in the room and the most glamorous, forever.
